1. When my boyfriend and I stayed at Mahina Kai, we were the only guests in the resort which at first was a little disappointing, but we got such personal attention from our host Joe that we soon forgot about that and had the time of our lives.

2. It is a B and B,yet when you are there Joe the owner gives the spirit of ohana ( family ) For our last night he had all the guests bring a dish and a meal and we had a intimate dinner.
