1. STAY AWAYI don't expect much for ~$60 a night (low season) and I stay at low-cost motels on that stretch on Lombard all the time but there's no way I'm going to stay there again.

2. Rooms can use improvements, but if you can overlook them and think about how much it would have cost in the other hotels in the downtown or Fisherman's Wharf area, then it's bearable.
