Our room, which I believe is reflective of the remodeling, had new carpet, wall paper paint, new furniture, all new plumbing fixutres, including new sinks, tub/shower, etc.We were very pleased that we spent the extra money to have the convenience of this room which by the way ran $139.00 per night which in San Francisco is a great bargain.

3. This hotel is not the Ritz or the Four Seasons, but is is oh so much easier on the wallet and frees up more money to enjoy many of the fine dining options SF has to offer.

4. Strolling far enough south through Chinatown gets you to Union Square, where you can spend lots of money in upscale shops.

5. I booked this room looking to save some money and was pleasantly surprised - the room was clean and nicely furnished with a view of the Transamerica building and the Bay Bridge.
