1. I stayed here for 10 days while on a work assignment in downtown and surrounding areas,close to all,every night I walked to Trader Joes up the street a couple blocks no problems,nice brkfst every morning,free secure parking is a big ++as i had a car,kinkos not far for printing alot or use pc&printer @ hotel,free wifi,nice clean room w/fridgeµ.

2. Any drug is available on a multitude of street corners easily within walking distance of this motel.

4. Not only is it near the intersection of two major streets, there's a small street (almost an alley) separating one side of the hotel from a warehouse loft building and when the trash trucks empty their dumpsters at 5:30 am, you'll definitely hear it.

5. This is an 'old school' type motel that the door from you motel opens directly to the parking lot (and therefore the street).

6. The surronding area is run down and has lots of street people,empty buildings and hookers-don't plan on using the BART after dark-you would definately need a car if you are staying here.
