1. Street traffic doesn't bother us so we chose the room with the view and were not disappointed.

2. The Grant Hotel is a budget hotel and you do get a lovely view of a brick wall but still the window is huge and lots of light comes in.

3. We were upgraded to a bigger room which gave a great view of the street below, there was some noise from cleaning trucks in the early morning but wasn't too much of a problem.

10. We were told we could have a room at the front of the hotel, facing the street which had a view (of Grant St) but would be noisy with traffic, or we could have a room at the back of the hotel with a view of a brick wall but would be quiet.
