2. The castle inn is in a great location and has free parking, but the rooms are getting on a bit, the lack off a safe is also a worry, especially with the mesh windows.

3. Stayed 3 nights with wife & 2 teenagers (girl 16, boy 13) and found it was a safe, relatively quiet & in a usefull location for sights (we walked to Fisherman's Wharf in 20 mins).

6. We didn't really try to walk anywhere from the hotel, so I can't say if it was conveniently located to things like the cable car etc. Our only complaint was the internet was terrible here, was really patchy and barely worked.

7. It has an excellent location - you can walk to Fisherman's wharf easily, it's really close to the crooked street and the cable car is a couple of blocks away.
