1. The free parking is valuable, the location is very good (lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, bus stops, etc., in walking distance) and the free wi-fi is handy.

2. Great shops,restaurants and bars just around the corner on Polk St and its a nice 20 minute walk to Fishermans wharf and the cable car is only a few blocks away.

3. It's located within walking distance of the Wharf, Union Square, and Downtown, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars to keep ones spirits up.

6. San Francisco is not a cheap city, so this was good value in a fairly central location-only a few streets fro the cable car, for example, and various restaurants & coffee bars in adjacent streets.

9. The Polk Gulch neighborhood the hotel is in is actually very cool; it's probably 8-10 blocks or so of excellent restaurants, bookstores, cafes, bars, etc. along Polk Street.

10. pros: - cheap - clean - not so far from everything cons: - very small rooms (at least the one I stayed at) - I had a fridge and microwave, but in the bathroom?- no bath tub - no bar/breakfast room.
