My upgraded room was passable - not including minor issues like the TV signal being troublesome to the point where some channels were unwatchable, the door to the balcony (for the ocean view) having a lock so flimsy that it looked like a strong gust of wind would blow it open, and a conspicuous lack of wall sockets for a hotel that advertises free WiFi (how can you use it if you've got nowhere to plug your laptop?)All in all, the only decent thing about this place was the concierge and the man working night-shift on the front desk.
