1. My husband and I spent two nights; we had a double room, not a suite but it was comforatble; the staff were very nice, the breakfast adequate and always stocked, and there is a small pool.

Pros:- spacious and clean- convenient to beach- free breakfast- large bathroom with big counter for family's toiletries- strong A/C with responsive and reasonably accurate wall thermostat- prompt housekeeping (room was cleaned by noon on Sunday)Cons:- Junior Suite isn't really a suite; no privacy in bedroom, and can't have both TVs on at same time but on different channels (too noisy)- Not enough places to hang wet swimsuits and beach towels- Front desk staff tends to hang out in a back room; every time I approached the front desk there was nobody there, and I had to shout out for help; but once they came out of hiding, everyone was nice enough- Our waffles got stuck.

6. I debated between the Courtyard on the beach and the Fairfield Inn, and ultimately chose Fairfield because, for a lower nightly rate, the Junior Suite is almost twice the size of a Courtyard double-double room and offers free breakfast, a sofabed and a second TV.

10. There is a nice continental breakfast buffet (includes fresh fruit, Jimmy Dean BF sandwiches plus the usual fare)The pool, although small, looks out at the Courtyard Hotel and an open space where , if you look hard, you can see the ocean.
