1. The Mark Hotel has been recently refurbished and I hesitated because it was lovely old European style hotel before with a wonderful lounge/bar and I hoped it's elegant yet understated ambiance wouldn't be ruined.

3. The only drawback was the fact that the renovation of the restaurant and bar had not been finished, but if it is to the standard of the remainder of the hotel, they should be well worth a visit.

4. During the time of our stay, it was their 'soft opening' phase, where the hotel was not fully completed (restaurant, gym, bar, and hair salon were still under construction).
