1. the hotel is very quiet, no lobby , plenty of ' habitues'', you will be called by your name and feel very welcome and taken care of.

2. In fact, it got to be nothing to just hang out in the lobby and get the best tips on where to shop or get the best coffee and brunch.

4. because i'm not fond of large impersonal lobbies, i was really pleased arriving at the sherry despite the bustle outside its entrance.

5. It doesn't have a big lobby or gift shop or coffee bar or hopping bar scene, so if you want those things go somewhere else.

8. Very ornate lobby and elevators (real live elevator operators) Great location at Central Park and within a 10 to 15 minute walk to Time Square and Broadway shows.

9. Central Park is across the street, the exclusive Boutique shops of 5th Avenue and Madison are blocks away, Broadway Theater - Rockefeller Center - top Restaurants and Museums are all a short walk (there is also a beautiful restaurant off the lobby - Cipriani's - but we did not have a chance to visit).
"Superb - Best in NYC " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/21/2009 Vote
10. The room itself is quite sufficient in terms of space and comfort (For NYC standard) The breakfast was great, in fact I am confident in saying that their Bagel salmon creme cheese combo is one of the best in Manhattan area ( fist fight almost broke out in the office when I said this :-)) The lobby is not big, but I prefer property that pays more attention to size of rooms than size of lobby anyway.
"Awesome location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/26/2010 Vote
