1. The hotel is not really within walking distance of most of the sites, however, it is just around the corner from the Lake Union streetcar line which goes directly into the downtown shopping area in about 5 min.

2. Right on the edge of downtown in a quite area, one block from the trolley that takes you to city center(6-8 blocks) or lake Union ( about a mile and a half).

3. The only downside is the construction; a condo complex (one of hundreds going up downtown, it seems) is being built directly behind the hotel, so my view of Lake Union was blocked and the building noise began promptly at 7 a.m. I didn`t mind, because I was up early for work; but if you`re a tourist hoping to sleep in, be forewarned; this could go on for months.
