1. I am told there are good Thai and BBQ restaurants within walking distance across the street.

8. Parking is absolutely outrageous at $16 + tax per day, considering that all the other hotels I saw on the street (except the Hilton) have free parking for guests, including the Red Lion and the Radisson.
