5. Without a jeep you have to use the island bus service which is good and will take you 7 miles to the only beach with access by tarmac road, although one of the best beaches on the island.

6. There is a shuttle from the Hotel Lanai to both of the Four Seasons resorts, each of which provides a nice place to hang during the day (one on a beach; the other in the high country).

10. The beach is a five minute walk from Manele and there are lots of free activities at the Lodge you could enjoy - miniature golf, lawn bowling and croquet.
