1. Whole Foods is across the street, but be VERY careful crossing because the drivers in Buckhead do NOT yield for pedestrians - almost got hit in the crosswalk twice in one day.

3. As a Amex FHR and SPG Gold guest, I naturally inquired about an upgrade and was rudely and abruptly told that the hotel was fully booked - got it, no problem, it was the way it was communicated, like I was a street person asking for a glass of water.

As a result, while the rooms and property overall are very impressive to look at and enjoy, the lack of staff and slower service didn't justify the price at all when several other hotels down the street (JW Marriott & Intercontinental - though maybe not as extravagant) were 1/3 the price on the same day and have much better views than of a parking structure in a 'grand deluxe' room.

6. Though it's close to things, it's not on one of the busiest streets so has a nice quiet feel when you drive up to give your car to the valet.

My only complaint is the Buckhead area the hotel is located in, unless you have the use of a car its tough to get around ( I wanted a couple of small sundries and really just wanted to find a pharmacy, however there really isn't one nearby, and the Whole Foods supermarket across the street was useless for the things I wanted ) but the area itself is beautiful.
