2. My husband and I arrived without an advance reservation looking for a nice, clean, reasonably priced place (with space to park our boat that we were moving from FL to SC) to spend the night and experience a little bit of Amelia Island.

3. Upon arrival, it was over $300 for 2 nights, either because of a tennis tournament on the island or one night of the 2 being a weekend night, I don't know.
