we only briefly went to the pool once and the hot tub is nice, but when you're on the big island, you really need to be out exploring and trying out the dozens of public
beach
es.

beach
, only sharp lava rock between the oceanfront condos and the water.

For those on a budget, the ability to cook some meals instead of frequenting the pricey options at the Waikoloa
Beach
Resort is a godsend.
