The place was really well-designed, both in the public areas and in the rooms themselves; the staff were friendly and professional (it wasn't the kind of service you'd find at really really upscale joints, but it was straightforward, efficient, and served up with a smile and goodwill); room service was quick and easy to deal with (without any of the formal rigamarol of some more upscale places); the food was fresh and good.
