When we attempted to check in at the Fairfield Inn, the
manager
advised us that she had cancelled our reservation within the last half hour and that the hotel was completely booked.

We did obtain a credit of one room night after relating all that occurred to the general
manager
, but until serious personnel changes are known to occur here, I'd strongly suggest seeking alternatives.
"Very loyal to the Hilton flags, but will avoid returning here "

A premium room rate was selected and paid for (so-called 'romance package') but the included amenities were not even known of, let alone provided for by the front desk personnel until a repeated third inquiry was made of a
manager
.
