ThIS hotel location is great in the middle of down town ATL check was a little long the hotel worker did accused me of trying to sneak for friend in the 4 nights i was staying with them and wanted to charge the rate for two adults which i didn't agree with and after speaking with the manager everything was clear.

We initially made a reservation at the W hotel downtown however, after seeing all the 'additional' charges, we decided to try and find a more reasonable hotel (we would have paid $158 for the room and that's the government rate, plus $30 for parking, AND would have been charged $100 upfront on our debit card for incidentals which would not have been credited for 2-5 business days) seeing that we were only going to be sleeping in it.

5. Internet rates are considerably lower than walk-in-rates, so if possible, book in advance for best value.

6. My husband and I, along with some friends, were staying in town for a conference across the street at the Hilton but didn't want to pay the rate for the Hilton (did so last year and felt the value wasn't terribly great) so we opted for the Motel 6 instead.
