1. For young people, the hotel is actually walking distance to the Crystal City metro stop, but the hotel shuttle to the metro is so convenient (every 1/2 hour!) and reliable (We did have to wait a while during rush hour one afternoon to be picked up from the station to go back to the hotel, but it came eventually, and if we'd known how close we were to the hotel we would have just walked).

7. The only shortcoming was the metro shuttle, which supposedly came every half hour ( other area hotels seemed to have shuttles no fewer than every 15 minutes, with some ebery 5 minutes).

8. However, on 2 occasions when this happened, I phoned the bell captain and requested an additional shuttle, as we were 16 ( nearly filling the shuttle to capacity) and on both occasions, an additional shuttle arrived within 10 minutes.
