1. Only detriment was lack of privacy in order to get fresh air into the room since there was walkway in front and street in back.

2. Okay, I didn't have (or see) any noisy neighbors, but at least there was very little noise from the street (and none from airplanes - the hotel is way south of the departure route of planes departing from SFO, even though it is very close to it).
