1. We ate breakfast at Fuddrucker's Bagels, just down the street and since the El Cordova gave us a coupon for a free appetizer at a few local restaurants, including Miguel's which is part of the hotel, we ate dinner there.

2. Rooms on the front (street) side are a bit romantic, and look out over the tourists wandering the street below, over to the Coronado Hotel, and the ocean.
