My recommendations: Eat lunch at Five Palms across the street (the view is breathtaking!), Use Maui Hill Activity planner for luau, snorkling, etc, tickets (big discounts), rent your snorkel equipment from Snorkel Bobs (they were soooo nice), snorkel at Ulua Beach, and if your a reasonable swimmer try Wailea Beach for their great turtle population (we saw so many.

4. If you want a good meal at a moderately expensive place, check out the Five Palms Beach Grill across the street in the Mana Kai Resort.

5. You can walk to the beach, if you walk to the bottom of the complex there are stairs that go down to the sidewalk and then you walk about 1 block down the street and cross the street to get to Kamaole Beach III.
