3. If you're looking for a clean and descent place to hang your hat for a couple of days while you enjoy the beach, it's not bad at all.

4. I read all of the bad reviews on this hotel and decided to give it a try anyway since we would be staying within walking distance of the beach at an affordable nightly rate.

While this hotel is not pretty from the street, it is well located near the beach and a pier packed with restaurants (mainly chinese seafood), its rooms are nice and clean (have read some bad reviews, but they were obviously written before recent refurbishments) and has a practical underground garage.
