1. From the Busterminal in Manhattan there is a direct connection to Newark airport (much cheaper than taking the taxi or hotel shuttle)Next to the busstop there several places to have a nice meal (breakfast or diner), good and cheaper than in the hotel.

3. We needed transportation to the airport and they lined up a cab service for $45 to take us to Newark.

4. After a truly scary cab ride from the Newark airport (our driver had me program the GPS device and then mostly ignored it as we toured a large section of New Jersey) we were greeted by the friendly staff at the Sheraton Suites on the Hudson.
