4. Face it, unless you're staying in a hostel,(and they don't provide free parking) you will pay at least $100 a night to stay in New York, and that's in the outer boroughs.

6. Took about 15 minutes to drive from the hotel to the Port Authority parking garage, just on the other side of Lincoln Tunnel (this was around 3pm on a Thursday).
