1. The location is excellent, you have the Friendly Center across the street, there are very good restaurants like Fleming's steakhouse, nice stores and a great new Whole Foods supermarket, which is paradise.

2. At first I was so dissapointed to just be changing plans in the middle of my trip, but now we'll never stay anywhere else, it was the best hotel for the best price, and the most convenient location, next door to any pizza and cafe for breakfast lunch or across the street from "wet willies" the coolest lil restaurant.

4. For those heading to the Greensboro airport, there is a gas station right across the street to refill your rental car and a lovely shopping area with nice restaurants also right across the street.

5. The hotel is well-located for a walking trip to an upscale mall across the street (or use the hotel free shuttle) with many good restaurants, stores and a movie theater.

7. While someone's obviously done a nice job of updating this hotel to current standards, they made a huge mistake in choosing to not put in quality soundproof windows, especially given how close many rooms are to Washington Street, a main clubbing area.

8. Having lived in New York for most of my life I am not generally sensitive to street noise when sleeping but I also understand that having good quality windows makes a huge difference in terms of the sound level.
