1. unfortunately I didn't know that the hotel was under major renovation and arrived to a lobby torn apart, drywall dust covering the entire first floor, hallways, stairwells, and any other open space.

2. The lobby was plastic'ed off, all first floor rooms were torn apart, the popcorn ceilings were being scraped off, the carpet was ripped up and it was just a mess and it got everywhere whether you avoided the entire first floor or not - I ended up with a suitcase full of drywall dust, and the smell was unbearable.

3. Hotel was clean and comfortable but showed signs of wear - for example cracked and worn marble tiles in lobby.
