1. And there's no food place anywhere near the hotel if you don't have a car, other than a Whataburger attached to a gas station (which is still a good 10-15 min walk by the side of the highway).

2. The only eatery w/in walking distance is a Denny's about 600-700 yards away, and crossing over a highway overpass (with no sidewalk).
