1. We were looking for a hotel close to downtown Chicago that was comfortable but wouldn't break the bank and we found the perfect place at the Evanston Hilton Garden.

2. The hotel, apparently built after I last visited my home town in 2000, is located in the heart of downtown, walking distance to all shopping, the El and the Northwestern train, and Northwestern University, and convenient for running or biking along the lakefront.
