1. If your trip is to see & visit the sites in Chicago, this is not the hotel for you as it is an average of 35 minutes from Chicago & the traffic is pretty bad, you would be better off staying at the Westin in downtown Chicago.

2. It is actually located in Itasca, about a 30 minute drive into downtown, but I highly recommend taking the train into town instead of driving.
