1. Though other hotels offered, 'private beaches', we didn't have any trouble finding a sandy spot to set up and there were plenty of beach vendors renting chairs and umbrellas.

7. Their motto-Where Waikiki Begins-is true but considering they're on a busy street (Ala Moana Boulevard runs along Waikiki Beach) and you have to exit to the right, away from the beach, a more correct motto might be "At the End of Waikiki".
