1. We used the valet service the first night, but most nights after that we found free parking on the Monssarat Ave or we would use the Zoo parking lot.

2. Parking was valet, but reasonable compared to other hotels nearby.

3. I found I didn't want to hassle with looking for street parking although I could have and saved a little daily if I had, but hey, it was a vacation.

7. A few tips: rooms 17, 19 and 21 are in the corner of the towers so the balconies are not very private, floors 10 and higher have upgraded balcony furniture, rooms in the 'Shore' (shorter) tower don't have views of Diamond Head but have great views of sunsets, rooms in the 'Park' tower have stunning views of ocean and Diamond Head, but you have to stick your head over the rail for sunsets, beds are super comfortable, storage is adequate, and I found readily available free parking around the park.
"Will stay here again and again! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/23/2010 Vote
8. Also if you rent a car just east of the hotel there is free parking within a short walk from the hotel, otherwise the valet parking is $20.00/day at the hotel.
"Just okay - if your looking for the real Hawaian culture it ain't in Oahu. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/30/2010 Vote
9. The Waikiki Park Shore was a great hotel - outstanding location across from Kapiolani Park provided a real sense of green openness accentuated by large floor to ceiling glass lobby panes; incredibly convenient access to the ABC convenience store, Starbucks coffee shop, and renowned Hans Hedemann surf school off the lobby; very pleasant staff from desk clerks (Apiolile [sp] and Dennis were wonderful); courteous cleaning staff (gave my kids boogie boards to use during their stay); and great parking staff who got my surfboard from locked storage every day.
"Value With Aloha " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/29/2009 Vote
10. Call ahead and find out you may be able to park in a hotel and get parking for free or a heavily discounted rate (I'm being specific to Waikiki)- Buy lei's in Chinatown.
"Amazing view and great location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/16/2009 Vote
