1. Though the shower and bathroom were better than the hotel we stayed at in Honolulu, we can't understand why these 1 1/2 and 2 star motel like hotels are able to charge so much money.

The only bad experiences I've had there were having the internet break down when I really needed it, having to listen to local guys who work at the Hilo Hawaiian next door bellering at each other from the dumpster/clubhouse area and my last time there my shower water was completely dependent upon the other rooms on my floor.
