2. we arrived after a long international journey(AUS) at 2 pmwere told that the room would be ready at 3pm so we had lunch in the ordinary hotel restuarantat 3pm were told 'a little while' housekeeping rushing your roomat 4pm were told that it would not be longat 4-30 when i complained told that the room still had previous guest in it late check out!then offered a similair room which was totally unsuited with a bathroom that was unusablethen changed to a lessor grade of room with 'free internet'they hide the guest laundry facilities despite it being prominent on the websiteso my son and i spent our first day in washington dealing with the very expensive hotel rather than enjoying and planningnever again a hhilton if this is what they are likerude unhelpful staffdining that rightly takes a canning on open table.

10. We were shown to probably the most smoked-in room in the hotel, with a sofa full of stains, a lamp foot so dirty so my socks were black as I accidentally stepped on it, the bathroom had soap rests from earlier guests, but worst was the smell of cigarette smoke.
