Mason Beach Inn

• The next night the maids took all the towels out of my room but didn't clean it.

• Best burger in town, with a million dollar view.

• There are many other better motels closer to the beach with better views and a better price.

• Our room was clean and pleasant but small and the bathroom was cramped.

• They had a refrigerator and microwave and the bathrooms and carpet were clean.

• my husband and I had both worked hard to figure out the problem, and the front desk was strangely ignorant, using senseless explanations and eventually changing the story repeatedly----to finally get online I had to walk back up to the West Beach Inn, sit on their outside steps and log in!), short pool/hot tub hours, uninspired continental breakfast, some rooms dark with little character (I asked for a different room upon arrival since we had been put in a dark, narrow room with a terrible chemical/plastic smell and no airflow), and the list goes on.

• The room was clean.

• The beds and pillows were absolutely dreadful.

• After returning from dinner we pulled back the bedspread and to our horror found bed bugs crawling up the pillow.

• She did find two dead spiders in the bed (gross!), and seemed to think that was sufficient.

• After the loud family next door went to bed it was quiet for the night.
