Courtyard Houston

• Bed and pillows were pretty comfy.

• Left for dinner, and upon returning several hours later, we found the suites to be cooling off better, a least by a couple of degrees--76.

• My daughter's suite appeared nice, however had a strong sour stench noticeable upon opening the door, thought maybe it was from cleaning and would improve when we returned from dinner, it was still very overpowering and we notified the manager who told us that she could send houskeeping to deodorize or move her to another floor, my daughter opted to see if deodorizing would help first and then move if not.

• Our room was clean and neat.

• That afternoon, I called and complained again about the room temp.

• So I used a pillow to attenuate the noise - amazing muffling properties a pillow has.

• The only positives were that the fitness center was nice (the pool and hot tub were closed during our stay), they let us check in early, the beds were comfie (though not the lumpy pillows), and the tv got a good range of channels.

• The bathtub had chips and the floor did not appear to be clean.
