• The view was New York City style which was a brick wall but hey I wasn't on the 20th floor of some posh hotel.
• The Grant Hotel is a budget hotel and you do get a lovely view of a brick wall but still the window is huge and lots of light comes in.

• Three things satisfy us the most when staying in a hotel 1) the room must be clean, 2) it should have a good clean comfortable bed, and 3) a good hot shower.

• The room was a good size and so was the bathroom but there was a musty and unpleasant smell emanating from the window in the bathroom which meant the window stayed firmly shut during our stay.
