I spent one night at the Duane Street Hotel as part of a business trip in March 2012 - it is a small boutique hotel that is well designed and they make every inch of space count - love the decor of the rooms mine was wasabi green with a pine platform bed (I kept walking into the base so be warned) and the bed was probably the most comfortable one I have ever slept in - flat screen tv and a glass
shower
(I hate
shower
curtains) - because of a cooking smell in my room through the ventilation system I wanted to open the window but had trouble with the second pane so I called the front desk and within about 2 minutes a young lady came up and helped me open it.

Our Boston hotel did the same - is this a new trend?)
Shower
was a rain
shower
so not very powerful.

Room
s are small but cozy but we were hardly in the

Some might find the
room
s a little on the small side but, from my experience, most
room
s in New York tend to be on the small side.

The room was cramped,

tiny.
•
Room was small as expected with tiny
closet
and nowhere for luggage but as this was the start of a longer trip we did have 16 days worth of luggage.
