They moved us to a suite for the second night which was better, but not perfect.

If not for that, the bed was comfortable so i'm not sure it was the hotel's fault.
It was clean and the bed was quite good.

At least I had a nice shower.
Bathtub was a bit small but we shower so no biggie.

Worse, they don't own and didn't plan the building, so they can't open a proper restaurant or cafe, move the hotel to a place that's actually within walking distance of a decent restaurant (and away from the noisy freeway that hurls traffic noise into any open window), add sidewalks to the road in case you do decide to walk somewhere, fix the balky, slow, 'high-speed' internet (which took 5 minutes to cue up a netflix streaming video, and kept having to stop and re-buffer), add microwaves and fridges to the rooms, or do whatever has to be done to properly convert a room from smoking to non- (the entire hotel is non-smoking, but you wouldn't know it from the leftover odors in my room).
Our room was fine, a little on the small side, but clean and adequate.
