Springhill Suites by Marriott Jacksonville Deerwood

• Spotless breakfast area, lobby, and roomsPretty good free breakfastBeds were comfortable - nice linens, pillowsRoom was quietSuite was a good size and spotless, fresh smellingHuge shower area with sink outside (Always welcome with more than one guest)Heat worked wellHuge flat screen TV, nice pictureCons (Please note - these are minor issues - They probably only bug me because I am trained as an architect and I do renovation)The bath faucet leaked into the tub when the shower was onThe bathroom sink faucet handle worked fine, but flopped about and shut itself off when it was in certain positionsThe TV placement was poor due to the room layout.

• We were in room 111, and the first thing that hit us when we walked into the suite was the overwhelming smell of an air freshener.

• The suite has potential, but wasn't clean: the bathroom had mildew in the shower and the tables & desk had all sorts of schpeg on them ~ we cleaned them ourselves with wipes we brought.

• All in all, it wasn't a bad room, but neither was it anything to write home about.

• The room was very ugly.

• The bathroom was very poorly-lit.
