Mainstay Phoenix

• Out of all the hotels and motels in this area, the MainStay suites was the best place to stay.

• Basic hotel suite, but it was clean, comfortable, with a mini kitchen.

• The room was clean and roomy.

• When I opened the door to the room, I was assaulted by the overpowering smell of stale smoke.

• The sheets were dirty and rolled up in the bed.

• We reserved a non smoking king size bed we got a gross smellin queen.

• The sheets were dirty and rolled up in the bed.

• The sheets were also stained with black stuff and torn.

• We had to take out garbage take down dirty towels ect.

• What you get is a barely clean room, no/stained towels, torn sheets and dirty, stained and ripped carpet.

• 16 people went there for a wedding, this was the worse hotel I have ever stayed in, I have stayed in cheaper but nicer & cleaner, the first day bathroom in Lobby there was a roach on the floor I did not say anything cause of the wedding, the carpets lets just say I did not walk barefoot, the washclothes & towels were dingy they need a new washer and need to use bleach, i used my sponge after that, these are smoke free rooms but they smelled awful one couple did leave we found out later, elevator they smoke on, the intranet you always had to ask can i use for a min we needed directions for attractions to visit, every morning we had to ask them to stock up the breakfast it was not much, twice we seen roaches, we told the maintence there he said they just sprayed so he could not understand why that is I went to show him the 2 my husband and i see on the wall in 2 different hallways he just shook his head and killed them, the last night we were there someone had punch our peep hole through it was laying on the floor when we got back, everyday when we left we kept the do not disturd sign so no one would go in, good thing cause 3 sisters that were in a room there expensive perfume got stolen, the trash on the outside in the hallways were always full, all i can say about this hotel the staff was friendly, this place was so bad i was scared to pull back the sheets to look at the mattress scared of what i may see, so i didnt, my husband did tell the person when we checked out everything he gave us, the 3 rooms we had 25% off the bill, my sister says they charge her 3 times and that she will have to wait 10 days, we just got back yesterday so we shall see, I have never ever written a review before i am 48 years old, this was the worse i have ever seen, it will never happen again do not care who it may offend, run do not stay here, my husband does plan on calling the health department, this place needs to be closed down and remolded, i think cause its cheap, and it has kitchetts that people stay there by the week they do not care and my husband the whole time we were there we only seen 1 maid and one cart.
