Hotel Highland at Biltmore

• The outside of the hotel isn't much to look at, but the first view of our room solicited a 'Wow!' The rectangular space featured two Queen beds, a table and chair, a lounge chair, and a lengthy gorgeous granite sink with baskets for towels.

• Great location, you can walk to restaurants and shopping; appreciated the complimentary airport shuttle which was convenient; the continental breakfast was marginal; the rooms had been updated and were very nice; soft and plush towels, free wifi, flat screen tv.

• Very clean, spacious rooms.

• Rooms were renovated nicely.

• No smiles, no warmth, bed in room was comfy, lighting poor (too dim).

• - Good fitness room - three relatively new pieces of cardio equipment, a universal machine, free weights and a couple of benches- Heated pool - just long enough to be able to do a few laps- Free parkingMinor complaints:- The phone in the room was antiquated and there should have been one on a bed-side table and one on the desk- Only wireless internet access and the signal was fairly weak although it never dropped while I was there- I had to remind housekeeping to clean my room one day, but after I did, my room got one of the most thorough cleaning sessions I've ever experienced - no complaints there!- LCD TV was wall mounted but did not swivel which made it a bit uncomfortable to watch from the bed.

• There is only a shower no tub not a big deal to us.

• The beds were comfy, the shower was nice, and there was plenty of room to move about.

• The bathrooms were clean and well maintained and the shower also very good.

• The bathroom was tiny but we are large people so many may not mind that at all.

• Internet is slow but the parking is ample and right there, the shower, rooms, beds and pillows are great, and the prices are fantastic for the location and the building.

• Also, the pillows are hard and too big so I slept without a pillow after the first night because my neck and back were hurting.
