Braxton Hotel

• Our bed and towels were clean and fresh every day.

• The bathroom was furnished with hotel soaps and shampoos and plenty of towels.

• The bathroom was awful.

• Our room was dirty, especially the bathroom.

• Wire mold, exactly 23 inches between the end of the bed and the wall.

• ) There was a dead roach on the floor by the bed when we got to our room.

• No bar in shower (slipped have nasty bruise).

• I could list the complaints but we could hear every voice in the lobby, we had to leave one morning and our door wouldn't lock shut (someone without a staff uniform on was standing guard for us according to the receptionist), the work upstairs caused the ceiling tiles to fall in over our tub, and the shower had just barely enough pressure to rinse my long hair.

• but It has a lot of negatives: Old building, no elevators, bathroom tiles falling off, wall, doors and windows with several layers of old paint, stinky carpets inside the room and out, next door 'Helix' (I don't know exactly what that place is but a lot of noisy people all nigth long); and to make this worse: @ our last day of stay, 10 minutes after 11 am my husband got out of the room to do the check out (was told that if we don't empty the room inmediately there will be a penalty of $30.00) & the room maker lady opened the room's door, placed the cleaning stuff rigth there and without any hesitation she waited until I got out of the room like a dog owner waits for the animal to moves out of the way to continue their duty.

• The room that I had was tiny.

• but once I saw the crud in the draws, I'd never put my clothes in there!** Closet was a joke.

• When the light switch broke to the closet light, nobody was ever sent nor was it repaired during the day.
