Hotel Helix

• It is a huge suite.

• I was staying in a suite, but the rooms looked great too.

• Comfortable bed.

• Bed was comfy.

• make sure you sign up for their frequent traveler program to get the free wi-fi and $10 credit to the mini-bar.

• The well-stocked mini-bar was put to good use.

• Turns out they have the larger rooms but we got bate and switch and had to complain to get the room we paid for.

• The room was clean and roomy.

• bits of pink mold around edge of shower, mysterious splats and drips of grime on bathroom doors/walls, no liners in trashcans so you could see the residue of all the trash of all previous occupants- noisy.

• The negatives: no coffee maker in the room, no clue in the room as to how to open the mini-bar (you're supposed to know that you should go down to the front desk and ask for the key), the bathroom is small and not 'luxe,' the water pressure in the shower is low, it is hard to make fine adjustments to the temperature in the shower, and in my room at least the knob for the shower was stuck and I had to have someone from the front desk come up and turn it on.

• The bathroom is tiny.

• Our room was spacious - although the bathroom was a bit small.
