1. When looking for a fairly cheap yet decent hotel in LA we had massive difficulties, there just didn't seem to be much apart from very expensive hotels.

5. For a decent meal check out the 101 Cafe on Franklin Ave,about a 5/10 min drive from the Inn,Ashley Jensen fron Ugly Betty was in there with her partner.

10. Also, it is quite a walk to get to Hollywood and Highland, but at least you'll be hungry by the time you get there, as there are no decent restaurants in the area of the hotel.
