Taxis from the airport are rather
expensive
as well so we opted to take a shuttle bus for half the price.

I only have a few minor annoyances with the hotel, first being that $29 to valet park overnight is really
expensive
and I don't know if I would spend that much if I had to pay out of pocket.

We had already travelled to Hawaii and Anaheim and had stayed in places with free internet access (not here, I think it was about $13 per day), a fridge to put things in (the fridge is stacked here and to buy anything out of it was
expensive
) and no washing facilities (except
expensive
drycleaning).

The hotel breakfast was outrageously
expensive
$25 per person when you could go out the hotel and across the street to Mel's diner for an amazing and affordable breakfast.

) and did the VIP tour at Universal Studios (
expensive
but worth it), also went to Rodeo Drive (fun to look, but who would buy that stuff??) and cruised Beverley Hills, Brentwood, Malibu, etc.

Valet parking is
expensive
, but worth it because the fee includes unlimited in and out, and they bring your car in a jiffy.
