She also gave us advice on public transportation, and recommended certain cookies from the array of fresh baked ones that were at the

each evening (free).

Although it was not the hotel's fault, the
front desk
manager upgraded our room and gave us free passes to their breakfast buffet (the value of the buffet was almost as much as I paid for the room).

A couple of days later in our stay, when we came down to go to the pool but had forgotten our room key to get in, she was at the
front desk
and said that although she would normally need ID to give us another key, she remembered us from check in.
